Austrian Airlines Plan to Resume Flights to Azerbaijan
Baku / 23.09.16 / Turan: The Austrian Airlines plan to resume flights to Azerbaijan. This was stated by the Federal Minister for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs of Austria, Sebastian Kurz, at a meeting with the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov.
As the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said, during the meeting the Ministers noted that the political dialogue between Azerbaijan and Austria is intense.
They also noted the presence of opportunities for expansion of cooperation. According to Kurz, Austrian companies are interested in investing in Azerbaijan. Mammadyarov for his part expressed Azerbaijan's interest in developing economic ties with Austria. He expressed the hope that Austria as a country which will chair the OSCE next year will make every effort to resolve the Karabakh conflict.
Kurtz said that as the OSCE Chairman he would visit Azerbaijan. -06D--

A trilateral meeting of the foreign ministers, transport ministers, energy ministers, and heads of customs services of Russia, Iran, and Azerbaijan is set to take place soon to discuss the progress of the Rasht-Astara railway project, a key element of the International North-South Transport Corridor (INSTC).
