Azerbaijan and Moldova have agreed on cooperation in the securities market
Government agencies of Azerbaijan and Moldova have agreed on October 23 in Baku to cooperate in the exchange of information and experience to improve the regulatory framework for the securities market.
During the visit, the delegation from Moldova, led by Deputy Chairman of the National Commission for Financial Markets of the country Nina Dosci signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the cooperation of the parties, aimed at strengthening cooperation in capital markets. From the Azerbaijan side the memorandum was signed by the Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Securities Ilgar Muradov, Turan was informed in the Public Relations Sector of the Committee.
Prior to this, the SCS signed similar documents with regulatory agencies in Turkey, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Belarus and other countries. --08D--

Azerbaijan’s imports of animal and vegetable fats and oils climbed 23.9% by weight and 16.2% by value from January to September 2024, official data revealed. Despite the uptick in volume, the import cost of these products saw a decrease compared to the same period last year, with the cost per ton of vegetable oil falling by 6.1% to $1,199.6 in 2024, down from $1,278.6 in 2023.
