Azerbaijan Customs Did Not Declare Belarusian Tires
During the first 9 months of this year Azerbaijan imported 424,361 tires totaling $ 17,372 900. In value terms, Georgia, where many Azeri motorists go to repair the "iron horses," purchased abroad more than $ 52 million in this period.
According to the State Customs Committee, about 35% of imported pneumatic rubber tires accounted for used (148 000).

The Statistical Office of Belarus notes that the first 9 months of 2014 the country exported to Azerbaijan 20,000 tires ($ 1,359,300), which is 2.7% less than in the same period of 2013. Delivery of Belarusian tires decreased by approximately $ 400 000. At the Azerbaijani customs during this period there were declared only 310 tires for tractors.
In 2013, Azerbaijan imported 822,500 (+ 5.8%) tires for a total amount of $ 33,023,000 (-3.1%). Official tire imports from Belarus last year amounted to 39,500 units in the amount of $ 783 400. --08B-
