Azerbaijan to Get Another Low-orbit Satellite
JSC Azerkosmos plans to purchase a second low-orbit satellite for sensing the Earth, this government entity stated. The launch of the second satellite is scheduled for 2017, after which it is planned to launch a second low-orbit satellite.
Recall that the company has a fixed satellite (Azerspace-1 launched in February 2013) and a low-orbit satellite (AzerSky, acquired in December 2014). The second remote sensing satellite will have a super high resolution and it will be used in emergency situations, in agriculture to address environmental issues, in mapping, etc.
The satellite Azersky is able to daily shoot portions of the surface of the Earth area of ??6 million sq. km. The resolution of the images is 1.5 meters. --17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
