Azerbaijan’s crude oil and petroleum exports fell sharply in the first eleven months of 2024, reflecting both a decline in volume and a significant drop in export value. The State Customs Committee (SCC) reported that the country exported 21.56 million tons of crude oil and petroleum products during this period, marking a 10.92% decrease compared to the same period in 2023. The total export value also declined to $13.3 billion, down from $15.1 billion in the previous year.

Recently, three credit unions in Azerbaijan were removed from the market. The Central Bank (CBA) revoked the licenses of the "Abbas," "Amin," and "Azərmaliyyə" credit unions. As a result, the number of licensed credit unions in the country has dropped to 36.
