Azercell will provide the telecommunications network of European Games 2015
mobile operator Azercell Telecom selected as the main provider for the telecommunications network of the first European Games to be held in Baku in 2015.
As the company says, Azercell will provide a mobile communication system for all subscribers in the stadiums and other venues, which will host the first European Games in 2015. Planned installation of a multi operator system in the Baku Olympic Stadium and National Gymnastics Arena (where the system is already installed).
"The multi operator system to ensure mobile communication within the building allows one or more operators to simultaneously connect their basic radio stations. Due to the fact that the system is on the playing fields will be provided Azercell, other mobile operators will operate on the basis of this system," - noted in the information .
Azercell company also plans to set up 20 new basic radio stations on the transport route for participants in the games and the Olympic Village. "It is also a reliable connection will be provided on all vehicles to be used by athletes. For this Azercell plans to install special mobile basic radio stations. Moreover, on the eve of the Games, Baku and regions of the country will be provided with a powerful network of 3G and 4G.
First European Games 2015 will be held in Baku in June 2015. The competition will be attended by more than 5400 athletes from 49 countries of the European Olympic Movement in 19 disciplines, including fighting, taekwondo, boxing, volleyball, basketball, beach volleyball, judo and others.
