Baku Crystal Hall - Burden on State Budget
Built on the eve of the musical contest Eurovision-2012, the sports complex Baku Crystal Hall will receive AZN 2 million from the state budget in 2015. This was identified by the head of state, who signed a decree to finance this public body from the state budget.
The decree on the application of the state budget for 2015 notes these funds will be directed to the organization for activities in culture and art. Probably it comes to financing activities in connection with the European Games to be held in Baku in June 2015.
The government does not inform about whether the activities of this company were subsidized in previous years. They do not provide information about how much the construction of this immense complex accommodating 23,000 people cost the state budget. The general contractor for the construction of Baku Crystal Hall was the German company Alpine Bau Deutchland AG.
