Baku Hosts Azerbaijan-Czech Business Forum
Today, January 17 the Baku Business Center hosted the 7th in a row Azerbaijani-Czech business forum in which issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed.
Besides 160 business representatives of the two countries, the forum was attended by the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Jan Mládek. The companies represented the agricultural, industrial, financial and social sectors, the construction sector, logistics, etc.
Azerbaijan has 19 companies with Czech capital, Economy Minister Shahin Mustafayev said at the forum. According to him, the Czech Republic has invested $ 1.3 billion in Azerbaijan’s economy. Czech companies are contractors 6 projects totaling $ 1.6 billion.
Tomorrow Baku will host the fourth meeting of the intergovernmental commission of Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic. -----08D
