Baku to Host Azerbaijan-Belarus Business Forum
The Azerbaijani-Belarusian business forum will be held in Baku Business Center on July 15. The forum is expected to involve representatives of about 10 public and private Belarusian companies.
Forum is organized by the Foundation for Promoting Export and Investments in Azerbaijan (AZPROMO) with the support of the Ministry of Economy.
The forum was last held in Baku in March 2015. About 60 representatives of the two countries' businesses participated in it.
According to the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, for five months of 2016 the trade turnover between the two countries amounted to $ 33.5 million, which is 16.3% more than in the comparable period of 2015. Exports ($ 8 million) increased by 3.4 times and imports ($ 20.8 million) fell by 33.4%. ----08D
