How active are the press services of Azerbaijani insurance companies? According to local public relations managers (http://www.nettrends.az/galery.php), the most -promoted company was Ata Sigorta. It has 18% of all mentions in the media in October.
After it, with 16 % is Pasha Hayat Insurance and Ateshgah with 12% of the mentions. The most active since the beginning of the year was the press service of AXA MBASK this time settled for 10 %, in the traditionally passive Pasha Sigorta this time had 9% of mentions in the media.
Alfa Insurance showed 8% and the same unsociable International Insurance Company showed 7% of the mentions in the local press. Once one of the most "talkative" companies, Qarant Sigorta this time fell into the category of other market participants - all of them accounted for 20 % of public attention.
Experts and observers believe the Azerbaijani insurance market has not developed due to the priority of corporate and bureaucratic interests. Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
