Production Association "Baku Telephone Communications" (BTRIB) to the beginning of October 2013 reconstructs all the telecom exchanges (ATS) in the villages and suburbs of Baku.
"According to the" State program of socio-economic development of Baku and suburbs of the capital in 2011 to 2013 "to promote the sustainable development of ICT involves the reconstruction of all the exchanges in the capital's suburban communities. Till the end of the III-rd quarter of this year we will complete the reconstruction of these facilities," is said in a statement association.
Now, work is continuing to provide telephony and other ICT services in new capital. The number of telephone subscribers in Baku exceeds 820,000. In addition, the software provides Internet services to 250 million subscribers in the mode of on-line. Currently, more than 75% of the population of Baku uses the services of a high-speed Internet access.
