Cabinet Approves Rules for Licenses and Permits Registry
BAKU / 19.09.16 / TURAN: The maintaining of a single register of licenses and permissions has been assigned to the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan. Previously, these functions belonged to other related ministries; so licenses for carting and transporting cargo were given by the Ministry of Transport, licenses for mail and communication services were issued by the Ministry of Communications, and so on.
The Cabinet decided in the Rules of the Register of Licenses and Permits that any legal or physical person can receive an extract from the register free of charge.
Judging by the text of the document that has come into force, the Ministry shall respond to requests for data from the registry within five workdays. --17D-

According to official statistics from Azerbaijan, bilateral trade in 2023 reached 3.1 billion US dollars. In just the first ten months of 2024, trade volume increased by 17.1% year-on-year, reaching 3.02 billion US dollars, putting the annual trade figure on track to hit a record high.
