Car producer Renault increases sales in Azerbaijan
In 2012 the Renault company in Azerbaijan sold 259 cars, much more compared with 2011, reported Nurgun Motors, the official dealer of Renault in Azerbaijan.
The most popular models of Renault are: Logan, Duster and Fluence.
"Sales of Renault vehicles in Azerbaijan in 2012, grew steadily, and this is undeniable success of our team," said Vasif Aliyev , the head of marketing Department in Nurgun Motors. In March last year, the official sales center Renault opened in Baku, through which customers can learn in detail the model range of the brand, to study the current credit and financial proposals, and enjoy high-quality services. Aliyev is sure that in 2013, the number of fans of Renault will increase.
Commenting on the results of 2012, Deputy General Director of Renault in Eurasia, Levot Denis, said: "This year, Renault group has set a new sales record in the CIS and Georgia, and has strengthened its position in the region. This once again confirms that our strategy - to offer customers affordable and reliable product quality, adapted to local markets - working effectively."
In total, in 2012, in the markets of Eurasia region (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine) Renault sold 17,898 cars, reaching a 12-percent increase compared with 2011.
This year Azerbaijan will present a number of new models of Renault. It is planned to start selling new models Logan, Sandero, Fluence and Megane.
It should be emphasized that the majority of distributors and authorized dealers of foreign cars in Azerbaijan prefer to hide the real volume of car sales. Renault in this series is a pleasant exception. 08D
