Centers for electronic tax services more popular
By taxpayer service centers from January to September, 51,048 services were rendered related to the completion and the direction of tax returns electronically.
Total services of these centers have used 100,055 taxpayers - according to the Ministry of Taxes of Azerbaijan. For comparison - in the whole of last year there were 102,666.
Total for the country, including the capital, operate 40 such structures, until the end of the year their number will increase to 55.
The main purpose of this type of service is business registration, consultation and collection of taxes in the regions through a "single window". Through them, taxpayers can get information and advice on tax issues , addressed to the tax authorities of tax returns in electronic form, to obtain information about the size of their tax debts and conduct other activities on tax issues. - 17D-

Azerbaijan's financial standing continues to strengthen as the country's foreign currency reserves have surged to $71 billion as of January 1, 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance. This figure, which includes reserves held by the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), far exceeds the nation's external debt, which stands at a fraction of its reserves, specifically nearly 14 times less.
