Companies from the Bureau of Compulsory Insurance rely on civil liability insurance for cars
The Bureau of Compulsory Insurance by August 1 collected 48,649,100 manat on the law "On mandatory types of insurance." This is 6.1% more than the same period last year, reads the monthly report of the State Insurance Supervision Service of the Ministry of Finance.
In the first place, as a rule, are bonuses for civil liability of owners of vehicles to third parties - 37,842,580 manat (minus 0.3% as of 1 August last year). Compulsory insurance of real estate individuals collected 10,465,340 manat (+ 37.7%). Civil liability insurance in the operation of real estate collected 255,750 manat (+ 14,1%), while passenger insurance collected 85,420 manat (+ 26.3%).
Payments made for these types were of aggregate 17,632,640 manat (17.7%), of which 16,317,720 manat fell on civil liability insurance for cars and 1,311,280 manat – on property insurance of individuals (+ 40.9%).
The law "On mandatory insurance" covers 4 types of insurance: compulsory automobile liability insurance (MTPL), insurance of immovable property, civil liability in the operation of real estate, and insurance for passengers.
The Bureau of Compulsory Insurance was established in the framework of the implementation of the law "On mandatory types of insurance." Currently, its membership includes 15 insurance companies, 3 of which are involved in life insurance. -17D-
