Companies with British Residence Permit Top List of Investors
In January and February the Azerbaijani economy was invested 811 million 18.1 thousand manat foreign investment from private companies and international financial institutions (31% by March 1 of last year).
According to the State Statistics Committee, by tradition leaders are companies from the UK - they have invested 304 million 573.5 thousand manat or 37.5% of total investment (up 2.2 times). The second and third places are investment companies from Norway - 137 million 439 thousand manat (+ 50.8%) and Turkey - 96 million 480 thousand manat (48.6%). The rest of the investment came from companies of other countries.
Among the international organizations in the reporting period, the World Bank invested 31 million 747.5 thousand manat (+ 52.2%), Asian Development Bank - 8 million 753.7 thousand manat (minus 48.23%). --17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
