Compulsory Insurance Bureau Adjusts Its Charter in Accordance with Law
The Compulsory Insurance Bureau has adjusted its Charter in accordance with the law "On compulsory insurance" amended on March 4, 2016.
The Charter has changed the words "insurance control body" to "control body over financial markets." On November 23, 2016 the changes were approved by the Ministry of Justice.
In this regard, in the Board of Trustees of the Bureau, two representatives of the Ministry of Finance were replaced by two representatives of the Financial Markets Supervision House. ----71D

Azerbaijan's financial standing continues to strengthen as the country's foreign currency reserves have surged to $71 billion as of January 1, 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance.
