Consumer loan portfolio of VTB Bank (Azerbaijan ) has tripled
BAKU/27.12.13/TURAN : On December 1, 2013 consumer credit portfolio of VTB Bank (Azerbaijan) was 86 425.7 thousand manats, which is 3 times more than the same period last year.
Total loan portfolio compared with the same period last year increased by 150 %, reaching 167 346.2 thousand manats.
The total capital reached 45 888.1 thousand manats. Recall that on December 1, 2012 , this figure was 15 153.5 thousand manats.
In addition, the deposit portfolio amounted to AZN 28 393.1 , surpassing the same period last year, almost five times .
Also saw revenue growth of VTB (Azerbaijan) for the corresponding period . Interest income amounted to 16 613 thousand manats, non-interest income - 2219 thsd AZN .
Chairman of the Management Board of VTB Bank (Azerbaijan ) Alexander Yeremin: "In the next three years we plan to enter the top banks in the country list , but it is possible that it will happen faster as VTB (Azerbaijan) is part of a major international VTB Group and has serious about business development in Azerbaijan. We plan to significantly increase the Bank's loan portfolio . For example, the retail loan portfolio will increase by 5 times. As a result of this growth , VTB (Azerbaijan) should enter the number of banks in the country , leading in retail . No less ambition we have in the area of corporate lending . "
