Confederation of Trade Unions will pay compensation to a veteran who committed self-immolation
On December 27 the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan (CPA) decided to undertake all the costs for treating disabled Karabakh war, Zaur Hasanov, who two days ago committed self-immolation in protest against taking his café. CTA also decided to pay a lump sum compensation to the family, and disability expenses claimed on its contents until the children reach adulthood.
"Today, the Confederation of Trade Unions decided to pay monthly to Zaur Hasanov’s family AZN 1,500 ($ 1,900) until the children reach adulthood. The Confederation shall bear the costs for the treatment of Zaur Hasanov, as well as additional expenses in case of treatment abroad, as well as providing family members with work. Along with this, the family of a veteran will be paid a lump sum payment of $100,000 manat ($127,000)" Turan was told said the head of the CTU, Sattar Mehbaliyev. —05B06--
