Court to Consider Decision of Eurobank Creditors
The creditors of Eurobank may file claims to Baku Administrative Economic Court N1.
According to the Director of the Azerbaijan International Consulting Company Natig Abdullayev (the company is responsible for the bank's liquidation), the registration of the creditors' claims is to be confirmed by the court. That is why controversial claims of the creditors submitted to the Court for clarification have been collected and considered.
The hearing will begin on January 14 at 15:30. The turnout of creditors is required. In case of absence without good reason, the requirements will be rejected. The just demands would be met by loans to customers of the bank.
Recall the decision to revoke the license of the bank was made on August 10, 2015 by Baku Administrative Economic Court N1, and Eurobank was declared bankrupt. Its license was revoked due to the fact that it had not eliminated the deficiencies associated with the cap and other issues, despite indications of the CBA. The bank has no deposits.
