Currency Reserves Decrease 2.7 Times for Year’s Term

While by the beginning of last year, the foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan had decreased by 2.8% to $ 13 billion 758.3 million, by January 1 this year, this amount was reduced by 2.7 times ($ 5 billion 16.7 million).

According to the information on the official website of the Central Bank, only in December its reserves lost $ 1 billion 228.9 million (19.7% of the total) as a result of the devaluation. --17D-
