Date of Issue of Compensation to Depositors of Qafqaz Inkishaf Bank and Atra Bank Announced
Issuance of compensation to depositors of Qafqaz Inkishaf Bank and Atra Bank will begin from August 22, said the report of Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund.
The compensation will be issued by the above banks.
The Fund report notes that the information about the particular place of issue of compensation will be given more precisely later.
"The Fund guarantees compensation of up to 30,000 AZN on insured deposits. Part of the deposits exceeding this amount will be compensated by the liquidator," the Fund stated.
Recall that the licenses of Qafqaz Inkishaf Bank and Atra Bank were revoked by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan on January 27, 2016.
By the decision of the Baku Administrative Economic Court of August 16, the Deposit Insurance Fund was appointed liquidator of Qafqaz Inkishaf Bank and Atra Bank. -77D-
