December 3 forum for ICT Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan and the United States
BAKU/24.09.13/TURAN : Business Forum in the field of ICT with the participation of representatives of the authorities and business circles of Azerbaijan and the United States will be held on December 3 in Baku, the information on the website of the US- Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce (USACC).
The report noted that the forum will be held in the framework of his visit to Azerbaijan trade mission USACC, scheduled for December 2-5. The event is organized USACC and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan.
The forum is expected to hold meetings with representatives of government, business and industry in Azerbaijan . The forum participants will also be able to present their companies and products in the U.S. stand at the international exhibition BakuTel 2013 .
The U.S. delegation will be composed of 15 representatives of leading U.S. ICT companies.
USACC was established in 1995 as a leading resource for U.S. companies seeking to establish long-term business relations with Azerbaijan. - 17D-

The State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAR) reported revenues of $4.60 billion from the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) oil field in the January-September period of 2024, a decline of 12.1% compared to the same period last year. In 2023, SOFAR recorded revenues of $5.23 billion from ACG, the largest oil field in Azerbaijan.

Silk production in Azerbaijan decreased by 32.9% year-on-year in the first eight months of 2024, reaching 239.4 tons, according to data released by the State Statistics Committee. The decline was attributed to a reduction in the number of silkworm seeds distributed to farmers, reflecting a longer-term trend in the sector's contraction, noted agricultural expert Vahid Maharramov.
