During 9 months, 2013 transportation via BTC decreased by almost 380,000 tons
From January to September 2013 22,547,000 tons of oil was transported via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline, reported State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR).
Judging by SOCAR’s data, oil export via BTC dropped by 379,000 tons against the same period in 2012.
During 2012 29,671,000 tons of oil was exported via BTC. 227,998,000 tons of oil has been pumped via the pipeline since its launching till October 1, 2013.—0—

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
