During the Quarter, Foreign Debt Rose by 0.34%
In the third quarter of this year, Azerbaijan's public external debt increased by 17.2 million or 0.34%, to 5 billion 5.1 mln. manat ($ 6 billion 380.7 million).
According to the Ministry of Finance, the amount of external borrowing is 8.5% of GDP.
The amount of external debt per capita is $ 529. Over the past four years, the external debt per capita of the population grew by 27%. In October 2010, the figure was $ 415.3.
The structure of external debt by currency is as follows: US dollars - 63.7%, 21.7% Euro, IMF special drawing right - 10.4%. According to the Ministry of Finance, 61.3% of the current external debt was borrowed as repayable within 10-20 years, 31.3% for over 20 years, and the remaining 7.4% - up to 10 years. --08D--
