Dutch Minister of Economic Affairs Announced Trade Turnover with Azerbaijan Priority
The Dutch government intends to cooperate with Azerbaijan in perspective, including the areas of alternative energy, agriculture and ecology.
These topics were discussed today during President Ilham Aliyev's meeting with a delegation headed by the Dutch Minister of Economy Henk Kamp.
The Head of State assured the guests of the creation of conditions for effective work of foreign investors.
The next stage of the Dutch officials’ visit to Azerbaijan's capital will include specific meetings with the ministers heading the economic bloc of the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan.
Recall, according to the results of 2015 the mutual trade turnover between the two countries amounted to about $ 120 million, while the Netherlands were among the five largest investors.
In addition, last year in Maastricht, a business forum was held with the participation of 50 Azerbaijani and 90 Dutch companies. After the visit of the Minister of Economy to Baku, a solid trade delegation from the Netherlands will arrive in Azerbaijan on May 17 to 21. --17D-
