Electric train Baku-Sumgayit is ready to start
On 15 September will be launched new electric train Baku _Sumgayit (35 км.) Travel time is 40 minutes; it became possible after the reconstruction of the railway Baku-Sumgayit-Khirdalan. In this direction will operate eight trains that will run from 06:00 to 24:00. Of the eight trains three are 2-storey trains of the Swiss company Stadler Rail Group, said spokesman of CJSC "Azerbaijani Railways" Nadir Azmammadov.
Electric trains will run from 06:00 to 12:00, and from 16:00 to 24:00 every 30 minutes, and from 12:00 to 16:00 – in an hour. From Baku railway station the train will run through the station: Kishly, Bilajari, Khirdalan, Gyuzdek, Sumgait.
In the second phase of the train between Baku and Sumgait will run on the ring line, covering the villages of Sarai, Goradil, Fatmai, Pirshagi, Kurdakhani, Zabrat, Sabunchu, Bakikhanov.
The cost of tickets for trains Baku-Sumgayit has not been defined yet. According Azmamedov, prices will determine the Tariff Council.
The CJSC "Azerbaijani Railways" does not have its proposals in this regard, but advocates that they maximum take into account the opportunities of population.
Currently the trains between Baku and Sumgait run through the village Zabrat during 1.5 hours. In the view of this, and a large interval, this type of transport is not very popular and is unprofitable. -06D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
