Electric trains will be launched to the Baku International Airport in Bina (25 km). Yesterday this project was presented to President Ilham Aliyev at the presentation of the new 2-storey trains brand KISS produced by the Swiss company Stadler Rail Group.
During the European Games these trains will run between Baku Railway Station and the metro station Koroglu. Each train consists of 4 cars for 919 passengers (84 seats - in business class).
Later trains will run on the circle line Baku-Sumgayit-Baku (91 km).

In this way the movement of 10 trains is planned. Taking into account the stops, the average speed of the trains will be 63 km per hour. Travel time from Baku to Sumgayit will be 40 minutes. There will be just three stops – in Keshla, Bilajari and Khirdalan.
Before the train overcame this way in 1 hour 22 minutes.
On the way Baku-Zabrat-Sumgait trains currently pass for 1 hour 29 minutes.
Here are 5 stops - Koroghlu, Bakikhanov, Sabunchu, Zabrat and Pirshagi.
