Entry into Force of Law On Licenses and Permits
On April 20, President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on application of the Law On Licenses and Permits.
The Cabinet of Ministers was commissioned in a month's time to prepare a bill on administrative responsibility for violation of the law.
The government, within one month also must approve the list provided by international organizations and internationally recognized approvals and procedures for recognition of these documents on the territory of Azerbaijan.
Several types of permits with their submission information, suspension, liquidation, etc. are subject to the provision of the Ministry of Taxes. The list of these types of permits will be determined within one month.
The Cabinet of Ministers is ordered to prepare the rules of a unified register of licenses and permits.
The law On Licenses and Permits provides for the implementation of the analysis of the regulatory impact on the separate spheres of economic activity. For the preparation of the rules of this analysis, the Cabinet has been allocated 2 months.
The Law On Licenses and Permits is attached the list (http://president.az/articles/19491) of 25 subjects to licensing activities, as well as a list (http://president.az/articles/19493) of 87 permits for business activities. ----08D

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
