Exchange currency turnover declined for three quarters of more than a third
The volume of trading in the currency section of the Baku Interbank Currency Exchange (BBVB) in September 2013 was $ 39.245 million or 30.779 million manat.
This is a 4.1 % decrease compared to the previous month and by 3.2 % compared with September 2012.
The average volume of each transaction in e-trading system on USD / AZN reached this September $ 1,784 million, the average daily turnover - $ 1.868 million.
Just BBVB auction in September 2013 was attended by nine banks. In the reported month, the BEST held 42 trading sessions and registered 22 deals.
Exchange currency turnover for the first three quarters of this year amounted to the equivalent of 349.282 million manat, which is 35.3 % less than in the comparable period last year.
The exchange rate of the national currency in the reporting month remained unchanged at 0.7835 per 1 USD. The average rate of the U.S. dollar against the manat in September 0,7843 AZN for 1 USD., While in August it was equal 0,7844 AZN.
The monthly average interest rate calculated on the basis of banks' applications market makers in BakIBOR loans for up to 90 days in September 2013 was 10.01 % in manats and 10.39 % in U.S. dollars. The interest rate on BakIBID up to 90 days was 4.93 % in manats and 4.74 % in U.S. dollars. -15D -
