Expanded Branch Network of Largest Insurer
Two regional branches of the insurance company PASHA Sigorta have opened.
According to the press release, its new offices have started to operate in the towns of Lankaran and Goychay. So the branch network expanded to 10, half of which falls on the periphery.
The paper noted that the main purpose of the expansion of the branch network in the regions is the creation of conditions for a comfortable use of all types of insurance products by the population of regions, as well as providing customers with timely and efficient service upon the occurrence of insured events.
JSC PASHA Sigorta, entering into Pasha Holding, received a license to operate in July 2006. The authorized capital is 50 million AZN. Its services are provided on 31 types of insurance.
In the first quarter its premiums were at the level of 29 million 195.6 thousand manat with payments of 6 million 638.11 thousand manat (the best result among local insurers). --17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
