Export of Azerbaijani gas via Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum pipeline resumed
BP-Azerbaijan company has resumed gas supplies to Turkey after repair of the Turkish section of the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum pipeline , due to explosion on August 25 at night.
A source from BP-Azerbaijan company (technical operator of the project) said that gas extraction from the Shah Deniz field has gone back to normal after the works on the platform, which has been working at full capacity.
“Now has is delivered to Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey. There are no problems with gas extraction and export,” said a source from the company.
There was explosion on the Turkish section of the gas pipeline on August 24 at 10.00 p.m. local time in Sarykamysh province of Kars. The reason of explosion was attack committed by the Kurdish Working Party (PKK).
Operator of the Turkish section of the gas pipeline is Turkish state company BOTAS.—0—

At today’s session of the Milli Majlis, Azerbaijan’s parliamentarians discussed and approved in the first reading a draft law increasing the minimum subsistence level for 2025.
