SOCAR is going to cut the flange connection on the mouth of the well on Bulla Deniz field, which has become useless.
SOCAR reported at the end of last week that the installation of the cutting system delivered from the US is in progress on SOCAR’s site.
As soon as the flange connection is cut, the mouth of the well will be assembled to direct gas into the gas transportation system.
Fire has enveloped the exploration well No 90 on the northeast of Bulla Deniz on August 17, 2013. The sea depth on the field totaled 26.5 meters. SOCAR reported that ignition occurred during the exploration drilling on the depth of 5868 meters.—0—
