First Published Data on Dynamics of Tax Revenues by Sectors
The Ministry of Taxes for the first time in many years, has published some statistics on tax revenue in the various sectors of the economy. Compared with the previous year, in the first half of this year tax revenues increased in almost all spheres of economic activity.
According to the calculations of the Main Tax Policy and Strategic Studies, Ministry of Taxes, in January-June 2013 tax revenue from industry rose by 158.8 million or 12.1%. Data for oil and non-oil industries are not given. Not provided as exact information on total tax revenues by sector, in particular from industrial activities. From promulgated chart suggests that the industrial sector provided in the state budget through the Ministry of Taxes of about more than 1450 million manat.
Next, in terms of tax payments should the service sector - about 650 million manat. Increase in tax payments for this sector increased compared to the first half 2012 to 91.4 million or 16%.
The most in percentage terms (19.4%) increase in tax revenues recorded for the transport sector. However, transport workers have paid tax in the first half of the year about 100 million manat, which is 17 million manat more than in the comparable period of 2012.
Trade sector expelled to the state budget of about 220 million manat. Compared with the first half of 2012, the payment of this sector increased 21.6 million or 10.5%.
Despite the high rate of development in the construction industry, the tax paid by the sector in the first half rose by only 10.4 million or 2.5%. The tax deductions in communications increased 12.7 million or 9.9%.
In the first half of 2013 the Ministry of Taxes provided to the state budget 3 326.1 million manat, which is 7.7% more than the projected figure. The share of manufacturing, services and construction in tax payments amounted to 44.2%, 20% and 12.9%. - 08D-
