Foreign investments in Azerbaijan for 7 months totaled more than 2.2 billion manats
Economy of Azerbaijan from abroad increased at 7 months of this year, an amount equivalent to 2,222,314,200 manats (+46.7% compared to the same period last year).
The committee said these financial contributions were received from foreign companies and international financial institutions. The leaders are British companies, investing in local structures more than a third of all investments (855,693,300 AZN). They are followed by the U.S. companies - 267 148 700 manats.
This is followed by investors from Norway (255.19 million), Japan (228.86 million), the Czech Republic (156.5 million), Turkey (135.81 million) and France (77.53 million)
The leader among international organizations is the World Bank, the Azerbaijan capital for 67,498,900 manats. On account of the Asian Development Bank's 28.81 million manat, the Islamic Development Bank - 7.77 million manat, the Council of Europe - 1,017,700 manats. According to official statistics from Azerbaijan, bilateral trade in 2023 reached 3.1 billion US dollars.
