As part of the 1.7 thousand hectares of land there were planted more than 1.1 million olive seedlings imported from abroad. There were kept 900 hectares of olive orchards, and for the last 2.5 years, the area has tripled, he added.
The official said that today the specially protected areas and nature reserves are 10.3% of the land, and after the completion of the project to build two more of these areas, the total area of protected forests will be 13%.
To combat air emissions, there were closed 21 companies, the activity of 32 was limited, and 17 more sources were eliminated. --17D-
