In January and February 2015 Azerbaijan made Gross Domestic Product in the amount of 7.1 billion manat, the State Statistics Committee told Turan. At the same time in February, official statistics ceased to calculate GDP per capita, which will continue to be measured only on a quarterly basis.
According to Turan IA’s own estimates, in the two months of this year, the GDP per capita was about 741 manat. This is 18% less than in the same period in 2014.
Note that in terms of GDP per capita, Azerbaijan in manat measurement was down to approximately the level of 2008.
In 2014, GDP per capita in Azerbaijan amounted to 6,264.1 manat (+1.5%). –08D---
