As of March 11 the number of taxpayers increased by 25 508 units since the beginning of the year.
According to the information of the Ministry of Taxes, they are mainly individuals (23 828 entrepreneurs), legal entities (1 680 registrations in fiscal departments). Remarkable growth is observed in the number of companies (114) with 100% of foreign registered capital, which prefer to invest in industry, construction, transport, tourism, services and trade.
Among the top foreign companies the divisions of AIRBUS, General Engineering Services and Supply Company LP, Crown Consulting, Quintera Technologies AS, Vega International Car Transport & Logistic-Trading Gesellschaft can be called.
With recent indicators Azerbaijan has registered just over 692 thousand taxpayers, most of them with the status of natural persons.
The Ministry of Taxes does not publish statistics of entrepreneurs leaving the market in less than a year – business registration through the "single window" is a maximum of 72 hours, but then artificial barriers are created, which leads to the fact that the leading foreign representatives of the non-oil sphere often leave the local market. --17D-
