In Azerbaijan, there are nearly 35,000 recipients of presidential benefits
By April 1, the number of beneficiaries of monthly presidential allowances for special merits before the state was 34,876.
According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, of them 182 are National Heroes of Azerbaijan with the benefit for 1 000 AZN, 12,983 - Families of Martyrs ( AZN 200 ), 121 - Families of Martyrs of the tragedy of January 20, 1990 ( AZN 300 ), 159 – Popular title holders (100 AZN) and 1,762 – holders of the title Honored (60 AZN).
In addition, there are 18,262 disabled war veterans and the equivalents - 320 disabled persons in connection with the events of January 20, 1990, who receive a monthly pension presidential (disabled group I - 150 manats , II group - 130 manats , III group - 100 manats). The presidential pension of 100 manat a month is also paid to 629 participants of the Great Patriotic War.
And yet 424 people receive monthly pension honorary presidency in 1,000 manats. The average monthly benefit for persons with special merits to Azerbaijan, as of May 1 is 157 manats (+ 35.3 % compared with the period a year earlier). - 17D-

In Azerbaijan, the government has increasingly relied on tax exemptions for imported goods as a tool to stabilize domestic market prices. The exemption from the 18% VAT on wheat imports, extended this year, exemplifies this approach. New measures have also been introduced, including tax relief on imports of electric vehicle chargers, while exemptions for high-cost medications are currently under discussion. Notably, defense imports continue to be free from taxes and customs duties.
