In July, food prices rose by an average of 0.5%

In July in the capital and other major cities of the country, food prices increased by an average of 0.5%. Within a month, the price of sunflower oil increased by 0.2%, eggs – by 35%. At the same time, due to the season prices of agricultural products fell by an average of 10%.

Experts say that over the past two years, compared with previous years, the prices of agricultural products increased slightly, although the performance is not diminished. "This year's performance is quite good. The problem is that every year the process of delivering products to the markets gets more expensive, which affects the marketing of agricultural products," said one of the farmers.

In the coming days, prices will remain stable.
