In Moscow, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, will receive a $ 504 for day"s travel
Prime Minister Artur Rasizadeh signed on February 26 a decree that has doubled his own allowance for the stay abroad. Now, for example, for a one-day visit to Moscow, the Prime Minister will receive $ 504 to cover the daily costs. The same privileges are awarded to the Chairmen of Milli Majlis and the Constitutional Court.
The new regulation amending the decree "On the norms of travel expenses" from January 25, 2008 provides for the payment of travel expenses in accordance with the categories of public servants.
The leaders of the top echelon of government ministers, chairmen of state committees and other structures of the central executive, deputy prime ministers, deputies, the chairman of the CEC, the Ombudsman, the Attorney General and other senior officials will receive a 50% allowance. Constrained to an extent are MPs and Accounting Chamber auditors who will be awarded a 30% premium. The Head of Executive Power of Baku City will also receive a 50% allowance. The Mayor of the capital, as well as other heads of local authorities, were not included in the list.
It is noteworthy that prior to the amendments, the officials at the level of deputy heads of the executive and the judiciary received 30%, and others involved in public and government activities abroad, got a 25% premium for business travels. The revised list of allowances for persons in this category is still empty.
In addition, officials receiving 100% and 50% allowance to travel, can order places like business class on an airplane or, at the worst case, in a double sleeping car. They are also assumed a 10% increase over-trip each day for so-called hospitality.
Note that on any country, the Cabinet of Ministers has established a business travel card, the average size of which is $ 150 per day. The exception is New York, where a visiting day is $ 330.
Travel expenses include rental of premises (including the cost of hotel accommodation), subsistence (food, public transportation), and other costs associated with travel. -08B-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN.
