In November, construction materials fell by 2.3%
in November compared to the previous month the prices for building materials in the market fell by 2.3%.
In November, prices fell on stone cubes - 1.1%, sand and gravel - 5.2%, slate - 1.6%, metal tiles - 1.3%, insulation - 10%, iron pipes - 2, 5%, glass - 1.3%, boards - 3.8%, zinc coating – 3%, and rods - 8.5%. Chipboard and fiberboard rose by 1.5%.
Experts link the decline in prices to seasonal passivity. Slowdown in construction has led to the accumulation of surplus materials. In the near future, decline is expected in construction activity, which will lead to new reduction in prices for building materials.
