In October, prices of construction materials did not become more expensive
In October, the building materials market faced relative activity. However, in spite of this, during the month, prices for construction materials remained unchanged.
According to calculations by the public association Real Estate Market Participants, in comparison with the beginning of the year, the price difference was 16.7%, and as compared to the same quarter of last year it was 2.0%. Compared to the same period in 2010, prices increased 20.1%. During the month, the share of production in the market was slightly more than 50.2%.
Experts believe that the activity in the building materials market is due to seasonality. This activity will continue for some time, and major changes in the price of construction materials will not occur.
