Bank of Baku has announced the launch of a new deposit product Khalis Amanat.
According to the private financial structures, all who wish guarantee to preserve and enhance their financial means, can take advantage of the contribution. Deposit account can be opened both in dollars and manat for a period of 12, 18 and 24 months. The interest rate for the entire period of the placement will be up to 12.5%. The main advantage of this contribution is to release the customer from paying tax on profits. Payment of taxes on income from a new type of deposit is taken over by the bank.
Benefits of the innovation are that tax on deposit interest is paid by the bank, deposits are accepted in manat and US dollars, the amount of the contribution has increased, a credit line is up to 90% of the deposit amount, payment of interest is on a monthly basis or at maturity, there is an opportunity to obtain a free credit card deposit. Up to 1% of additional bonus is added for the Amanat Club members. Minimum deposit amount is 100 manat. Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
