Intensified Compulsory Insurance of Real Estate
The Bureau of Compulsory Insurance (BCI) reports the activity in the segment of compulsory insurance of real estate.
According to the current data, total premiums in the past year were at 24.8 million manat, and commercial real estate was in the lead – 20,841,000 manat. Premiums for home insurance totaled 2,794,000 AZN. Insurance of office buildings brought 1,166,000 manat. In comparison with 2014, it recorded a 56% increase.
Taken together, experts estimated the buildings insured on contracts concluded as 12.2 billion manat. - 17D-
