Investments in Construction on "Build, Manage, Launch" Principle Exempt from State Fees
The Milli Majlis at today's plenary session released from state duty investors, who invest in projects based on the "Build, Manage, Launch" principle.
According to the Chairman of the Economic Policy, Enterprise and Industry Committee Ziyad Samedzadeh, who presented the bill "On Amendments to the Law On State Duty", the innovation is proposed in the wording of the new article 3.3 (On the implementation of investment projects related to construction and infrastructure sites based on special financing).
The MM decision is based on the presidential decree of 21 April this year on the application of the law "On the implementation of investment projects related to construction and infrastructure sites based on special funding."
This funding model is offered in the construction of bridges, tunnels, reservoirs, sewage systems, news and conference centers, educational institutions, objects of culture, health, tourism, commercial buildings, wholesale markets, factories and similar facilities, sports centers, dormitories, parks for recreation and leisure, industrial, technological and agricultural parks, automated control systems based on high technology enterprises for manufacture, distribution and sale of electricity, highways, main roads, railways, civil airports, seaports, logistics centers, bus stations, subway lines and stations, special economic zones, etc.
According to the decree, the authority to sign contracts based on the "Build, Manage, Launch" model and to launch sites after the completion of the terms will belong to the Ministry of Economy. --17D-
