Jabrail city General Plan approved
Baku/27.07.23/Turan: The "General Plan for the development of the city of Jabrayil until 2040" has been approved by the Cabinet of Ministers. Prime Minister Ali Assadov signed the decision on July 25, and it was made public on July 26. The development plan takes into account the proposals put forward by the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture.
Jabrayil, which is the administrative center of the Jabrayil district, was liberated from occupation on October 4, 2020. After almost three decades of being under the control of the Armenian Armed Forces from 1993 to 2020, the city was completely destroyed, turning into ruins. Before the occupation, more than 6,000 residents lived in Jabrayil.
In a separate decree signed on August 16, 2022, Prime Minister Ali Asadov approved the "General Plan of the territories of Azerbaijan liberated from occupation", reflecting broader efforts to revitalize and restore areas that were once occupied.--0--
