JSC Capital Bank increases charter capital up to AZN 150 million
Baku/04.02.14/Turan : The State Committee for Securities registered on the 3rd of February the issue of 7 million shares of Capital Bank. Last time the bank turned to shareholders for capital last summer.
Bank issued shares for a total nominal value of 70 million manat. Thus, upon completion of the offering, the authorized capital of Capital Bank will reach 150 million manat.
While BSE has not announced the beginning of the placement .
With the establishment of the state-run Kapital Bank ( 2005 ) , its authorized capital amounted to 20 million manat. The bank's privatization was carried out 2007-2008. Since then, the bank's authorized capital was increased twice by 30 million manat.
Shareholders of Capital Bank consist of about 170 local investors. Ltd. Pasha Holding owns 99.84 % of the shares.
In one of the brokerage companies they told Turan that the bank's shares of a nominal value of AZN 10 are offered at 20 manat in the market.
Of the 43 commercial banks of Azerbaijan, listed in the market are the shares of only five (International Bank of Azerbaijan, Demirbank, AG Bank, Capital Bank and Para Bank). - 08B-

BP, the operator of the Shah Deniz gas condensate field, announced on Sunday that production from the Shah Deniz Alpha platform resumed on the evening of January 18. This followed the complete resolution of a technical issue with the subsea condensate export pipeline between the Shah Deniz Alpha platform and the Sangachal terminal.

The State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan reported that in 2024 investments in fixed assets reached 21,435.1 million manats, which is 0.7% less than in 2023. While overall figures edged lower, the sectoral breakdown reveals notable disparities between the oil and gas sphere and non-oil industries.

Azerbaijan’s industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs reported a modest 1.1% year-on-year increase in industrial production during 2024, reaching an output valued at 64.1 billion manat. The State Statistics Committee attributed the overall growth to a 0.5% expansion in the oil and gas sector, while non-oil and gas industries surged by 7.3%.
