JSC Synergy Group presented several industrial projects
The Ministry of Economy and Industry organized on February 21 in Shamkir an event on the role of industry in the socio- economic development of regions . Established in 2010, the holding company JSC Synergy Group conducts several industrtial projects in the Ganja- Gazakh economic region.
Chairman of the Supervisory Council of JSC Synergy Group Riyadh Huseynov told about the projects implemented by the use of industrial capacity in the country , including Ganja- Gazakh region. Currently under construction near Gazakh is the processing plant for limestone Ecolime, the technology park in the village of Shamkir Zeyem, producing high dimensional metal structures, and a fiber cement plant in the Garadagh district of Baku .
The holding is a manufacturer of printing and packaging materials and the only manufacturer of concrete blocks .
The event was also addressed by the President of Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation Mammad Musayev , President of the Export and Investment Promotion in Azerbaijan Rufat Mammadov , Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan (AmCham) Narghiz Nasrullayeva and others who shared their thoughts on capacity building in the non-oil sector of the economy in the " year of industry. "
The representative of the National Fund for Entrepreneurship Samir Gumbatov presented samples of investment projects to create a modern plant for bread , fruit and vegetable processing .
The event , which was held in Excelsior Hotel Shamkir (the property of Synergy Group), signed a Memorandum of Understanding between JSC Synergy Group and the Azerbaijani office of PwC. PricewaterhouseCoopers will support the development of business strategy to identify new investment opportunities.

Azerbaijan's financial standing continues to strengthen as the country's foreign currency reserves have surged to $71 billion as of January 1, 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance. This figure, which includes reserves held by the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), far exceeds the nation's external debt, which stands at a fraction of its reserves, specifically nearly 14 times less. This robust reserve position reflects Azerbaijan's fiscal stability and the government’s strategic economic management.
