Government declares the opening of the country for half of the new 65,000, including 52,000 permanent jobs. Nevertheless, official statistics says that since the beginning of the year the number of employed persons grew by only 700 people.
As of June 1, the economy of Azerbaijan occupied 1,510,800 employed persons, which are 300 people more than a month earlier.
This month there was an outflow of labor from the private to the public sector. If as of May 1, the public sector employs 900 700 people, a month later, this figure reached 905,200 people. In the private sector the number of employed persons decreased from 609 800 to 605 600 people.
Average monthly wage of employed persons in January-May amounted to 438.1 manat, an increase over the month by 1.4 manat. - 08D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
